COC Thailand

The main Service i provide on a dayly basis at ‘COC Thailand‘ is focused around computers and office related work. Creating web sites and blogs for the use of promoting the cause and vision of COC Thailand Foundation and also The Haven Project Foundation.

Maintaining the server and also mailing list system is part of my job, I use PHPLIST which is a free mailing list client that runs from most servers and has all the features you would expect from a professional mailing list client.

Another example is creating slideshows in Powerpoint format and then hosting them on Slideshare from where they can be embedded into any kind of website and also facebook and myspace pages for great exposure.

The Well Member Care Center

Another Foundation i work with is ‘The Well Member Care Center‘ where i am more focused on web design and networking via the internet, such an example is a new Forum which i have had on my heart to do for some time. I feel there is a need for a Christian Forum here in Thailand and Asia that will focus on networking people and resources to maximize the impact of Christians living here and they’re visions/missions.

Join it and become a member you do not have to be a resident in Asia but an interest in spreading the word of God is a must.

The Vision

The vision is to strengthen the presence of Christian based websites and blogs on the web, to balance out the kind of information that is available nowadays and post about the truth. To allow people that may not have thought about using the web as a tool to give account on how God is working in their life.

To promote the situation in Burma has been a vision I have taken on from Ajarn Jonathan at COC and I now feel strongly about this subject and will use my abilities to raise awareness of the bitter truth of dictatorship and natural disaster in that country.

The Goal

To establish an educational focused center in the shape of an internet cafe that will have a public area to serve the community and a private area to be used to train and educate students. A place that will have the resources needed to allow students to have access to the latest and best tools to be trained with. To offer this resource free of charge to any Christian run study group, to provide a service that will make a difference in young people’s future. To build a Christian technologically advanced community to support and push on the boundaries of God’s kingdom here in Asia.
